What is a Segway®?
The Segway® Personal Transporter (PT) is the first of its kind-a self-balancing, personal transportation device designed to go anywhere people do. Easy to use and operate, the two-wheeled Segway® sports high-tech gyroscopes that automatically respond to your body's movements, "sensing" when it should speed up and slow down.
You stand on a small platform between left and right wheels as you hold onto handlebars at a comfortable waist height. The Segway® handles the balancing for you, so that you're always upright as you glide through any environment.
Is there a weight limit for the tour?
There is a recommended limit of 265 lbs. and we ask our guests to be within a reasonable range of this limit.
How far in advance do I need to reserve?
We suggest you either book online @ www.segway-sentosa.com, or call us at +65 9825 4066. All of our tours are limited in size, so be sure you reserve your space early. If we are booked online, try giving us a call; we close our online reservations 24 hours before each tour to avoid over booking.
Are the tours cancelled in case of rain?
No, our tours run rain or shine. We have ponchos available for anyone that needs them in our office.
Can I rent a Segway® without a guide?
Unfortunately, we do not rent our Segways® out to individuals without a guide. Since our tours are virtually always full, we need all machines for our tour customers.
How large are the Eco Adventure tours?
We limit our groups to 5 people per tour guide to ensure your safety and provide the best service. Smaller groups also make it easier to hear your guide and give you the ability to ask questions.
What restrictions are there for Segway® riders?
Guests who are pregnant or under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to ride.
We have a disclaimer form for each Segway® rider that comes in. Segway® riders under 18 years of age must have the disclaimer form signed by their legal guardian.

Terms & Conditions
For the safety and comfort of our guests and riders:
- Riders should be a minimum height of 90cm and 110cm for our Eco Adventure.
- Each ride should accommodate one rider at any one time only
- Smoking and consumption of food and drinks are strictly prohibited within the premises and during the ride
- Guests and riders are advised to enter and exit the premises in an orderly manner, and horse-playing shall be strictly prohibited at all times
