What is a Segway®?

The Segway® Personal Transporter (PT) is the first of its kind-a self-balancing, personal transportation device designed to go anywhere people do. Easy to use and operate, the two-wheeled Segway® sports high-tech gyroscopes that automatically respond to your body's movements, "sensing" when it should speed up and slow down.

You stand on a small platform between left and right wheels as you hold onto handlebars at a comfortable waist height. The Segway® handles the balancing for you, so that you're always upright as you glide through any environment.

Is there a weight limit for the Segway® PT?

There is a recommended limit of 117 kg. and we ask our guests to be within a reasonable range of this limit.

How far in advance do I need to reserve?

We suggest you either book online @ reservations@segway-sentosa.com, or call us at +65 9825 4066. All reservations are subjected to slots availability and on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Are the tours cancelled in case of rain?

We run our Guided Eco Adventure rain or shine. Ponchos are available upon request. We reserve the right to suspend the tour when it is deemed unsafe for the ride to carry on.

Can I rent a Segway® without a guide?

Unfortunately, we do not rent our Segway® PT to individuals without a guide currently. However, we are pleased to inform you that there are plans for this in the near future.

How many people can go on the Guided Eco Adventure at 1 time?

We limit our group size to 10 people each time to ensure your safety and experience is not compromised.

We STRONGLY DISCOURAGE guests with the following conditions from going on rides, including but not limited to:

• Heart and Cardiac Conditions
• Motion Sickness and Vertigo
• Back and Spinal Problems
• Pregnancy
• Intoxication

A disclaimer form must be signed before commencement of Segway® rides. All guests below 18 yrs of age must have the disclaimer form signed by their legal guardian. Please obtain your disclaimer form from our friendly staff.

Terms & Conditions

• For the safety and comfort of our guests and riders: Riders should be a minimum height of 90cm for Fun Rides and riders below the age of 12 will be accompanied by a walking guide. Riders need to be at least age 10 years and above for Guided Eco Adventure.
• Each ride should accommodate one rider at any one time only.
• Smoking and consumption of food and drinks are strictly prohibited within the premises and during the ride.
• Guests and riders are advised to enter and exit the premises in an orderly manner, and horse-playing shall be strictly prohibited at all times.
• The management reserves the right to stop any guest from taking the Segway® PT ride when deemed necessary.
